12 weeks to feel better

Have you been feeling a bit sluggish lately? Yes, it could be that time of the year – the days are shorter, its darker earlier and the weather isn’t exactly uplifting. Or maybe you’ve been feeling like this for a while. Slightly lethargic, brain fog perhaps, aches and pains that might not have been there before.

As we hit the midlife point our bodies start to change. Our hormone balance shifts, the way we absorb food changes, and suddenly what used to feel effortless feels harder.

For some women it arrives gently, for others not so much. Hot flushes, night sweats and irregular periods are the symptoms of perimenopause everyone talks about. But there are other lesser-known signs that can leave us feeling confused, overwhelmed and not quite ourselves, such as increased anxiety, a drop in confidence, or a sense of feeling emotional or a bit flat.

This is largely being caused by changing oestrogen and progesterone levels. We feel like its hormone related, right? But with so much advice on the internet, social media and friends who want to share their own experience, it can be difficult to know what steps to take to make yourself better. Those feelings of overwhelm you already have are quadrupled and then some.

Perimenopause often gets blamed for this, but we must look at other lifestyle factors too. Life can be busy. A constant juggle of life, children, careers, social pressures and so much more. With so much going on it’s no wonder we start to feel out of sorts.

So many clients come to me feeling like this. They’ve tried this and that, but nothing is quite hitting the spot. But we don’t know what we don’t know, right?

That’s why I started The Perimenopause Plan. A 12-week course that provides in-depth coaching so you can be armed with the information you need to help support your journey.

The programme starts at the beginning of February. We kick-off with a questionnaire and 7-day food diary analysis along with a 1:1 onboarding session. This provides the opportunity for me to get to know you and your lifestyle and symptoms a bit better. It’s also, a chance for you to meet me and check that I’m of sound mind (often questionable!) and that I know what I’m talking about.

We then start 12 weeks of teaching and coaching, with a focus on a different key theme each week. This is done through a weekly online coaching sessions which take place on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. There are also weekly drop-in sessions live in the community which provide an opportunity for you to ask either myself, or fellow health coaches questions. We’ll also have guest speakers, cooking demonstrations, access to a recipe library, worksheets, trackers, meal planning templates and more.

Perhaps the best bit of the programme is that all members join our online community. Each cohort is limited to 30 participants so it’s nice intimate group where can all ask questions, share challenges and experiences and support each other throughout. We all have wobbles along the way, and the group is there to share how we’re feeling, keep us accountable and celebrate successes.

At the end of the 12-week programme you’ll get another 1:1 call with me to go through everything and look at how far you have come. We’ll talk about the changes you have made, how much better you feel and look at what you can do moving forward to keep on track.

I know there is lots of information available online. But let’s be honest, it’s hard to know where to begin. Our course gives you practical insight and information allowing you the freedom to work out how best to support your own journey. All delivered in a down to earth, easy to understand, keeping it real kind of way. Here to support you with every step.

Perimenopause hits everyone differently and there is no magic solution that makes all the symptoms disappear – it would be nice though wouldn’t it! But with a tweak here and some small but consistent changes you will start to feel better.

If the programme sounds like something you would like to join, my next course starts in February 2026. I would love for you to join me. For more information and to sign up, click here.
